How do we bring the learning experience to life?
Grounded in the science of adult learning, each intervention takes a different approach based on the audience, topic, and desired outcomes. At the heart of the work is a balance between the academic needs of the organization, and the purely human needs of the learner. This balance is important because even the best technology falls short if it's not well aligned with organizational and employee needs.
This graphic shows the many satellites that orbit the concept of "instructional design." There are satellites of design, technology, characteristics, and psychology. Each satellite has its own history, milestones, and field of study. Like the magnetic pull between planets, they have varying degrees of influence relative to the needs of the people being supported by a learning intervention.
